Emily Joy Moye discovered her love for music by doing the pre-show as a Kinder-gardener for her High-schools spring musicals. She grew up singing in church, being in Musicals, and putting on concerts for her dad by the fire every night.
Emily Joy Moye is often compared to Megan Moroney, Ella Langley, and Miranda Lambert because of her lyrics and slight rock edge. Complete with old country classics and newer popular country songs, Emily Joy Moye captures the audience with her original songs during live performances.
She has performed at multiple brewery’s and restaurants with the Kris Youmans Band and Headlined at The Bell House in Griffin, Ga. Emily Joy has also performed multiple times at the Fisher Center and The Schermerhorn Symphony Center with her gospel/R&B ensemble “Voxology.” While studying Commercial Voice with a songwriting emphasis at Belmont University, Emily Joy Moye has fell in love with co-writing and has recently released her single “Drink Myself Pretty,” that she wrote with her good friend Aaron Brown.
